Steve is a mixed media artist.  His art has been published in Raw Vision and his works has been sold at the New York Outsider Art show and across the US and Europe.  Steve enjoys creating art from empty bourbon bottles creating a scene inside the bottle to make you think about things or give a laugh!

Steve Moseley 

Steve Moseley was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky.  He has a bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Louisville, and worked as a medical research technician for 10 years there.  Steve’s always enjoyed working with wood, refinishing antique furniture and making models.  After he married, and the birth of his first child, he chose to be a stay-at-home dad.  To keep busy in his free time, he started making ships-in-the-bottle, but then taking the advice of a friend and bottle collector, he switched to making whimsey bottles and using his keen sense of humor to create art and sometimes push the boundaries of sex, politics and religion.  Steve was raised Southern Baptist and had to go to church starting at 15 years old, it made quite an impression on him and so he makes art with a religious bent that challenges assumptions about social issues and while also infusing a sense of humor. Steve enjoys creating art from recycled objects and has expanded from whimsey bottles that use bourbon bottles, to wood and metal creations, and adapting old pictures into a new idea.
